Some astrologers advised Salahuddin Al-Ayubi after looking at the stars and said, "If you try to take Jerusalem you will lose an eye." 

To which Salahuddin Al-Ayubi replied,

"You talk about me losing an eye? I swear by Allah, I will take over the Holy Land even if that means I walk into Jerusalem blind".
