Today, my turn is on periodontal session..

I was doing my clerking, taking history of the patient..probing..measuring the pocket and gingival recession all that..proceeding to dental health education ( diet counselling and oral hygiene instruction)

Then, the other friend asked me..

Why you always got handsome patient?

Me: hurmm...I just smiling...handsome ker? Boleh tahan la..

I'm asking that guy, do you ever afraid of teeth extraction?

He's smile then nodding and I asked him again..then he said, he can tolerate..

Why I'm asking that?

Because some of so call MEN are actually afraid of their teeth being extracted..

Not all but they are quite a lot..

I got painful experience of my wisdom teeth being extracted also..traumatised for quite a long duration..

Extraction is very fascinating..If you get to master the real technique..

No pain if no infection..

If patient got infection, tha local anaesthesia given will not going to work properly..

So better to discharge the patient and give them antibiotic instead of extract that teeth.

Biasalah sakit tu..

Kalu dulu org2 lagi mantap la kiranya sebab diaorang x pakai ubat bius langsung kot..

Main cabut guna playar je or anything that can hold the teeth even their bare hand..

Jangan la takut okay..

Kalu sakit ..raise your hand or u just hold the dentist's hand..tell the dentist that you are in pain..

Then we will add on the other cartridge..
